Do you accept reservations?

All tables are seated first come, first serve.  Please see the hostess to be placed on our waitlist when all the tables are occupied.

Can we have a rehearsal dinner or private event at the Landing?

We only host rehearsal dinners and other private parties outside of our summer season (Labor Day to Memorial Day)

Can we dock our boat at the restaurant overnight?

No, boat parking is only for guests while they are drinking or dining.

Where do I dock my boat if I'm coming for lunch or dinner?

Dock your boat at any of the docks connected to the restaurant. 

Can I park a car in your parking lot and get on a boat for the day?

No, our parking is only for guests while they are drinking or dining.

Can we dock at the Marina next door to come eat?

No, those are private boat slips.

What do we do if there are no boat slips when we arrive?

Drive up close to the dock and tell our crew you would like to be added to the waitlist.

Where do I park if the parking lot is full?

You can park along the side of the hill of Ferry Road, leading up to M66.

Can we call ahead to add our name to the waitlist?

Unfortunately, at least one of your party must be at the host stand in order to be added to the waitlist.

Can we be seated without our entire party present?

We will only seat your complete party.

Do you allow dogs on the property?

We only allow licensed service animals on the property.

I brought my dog on the boat, where can I take them to go to the bathroom?

There is a public boat launch near the restaurant, or you may take them outside of the parking lot gate, and walk to the grass on Ferry Road

When do you close for the season?

Our last day open is Labor Day.

Can we take our alcoholic drinks to go?

Yes, you can take it from the premises if it sealed with a lid on it.

Where do you seat people if it's raining?

If it is raining heavily, we will seat people upstairs and under the covered patio.

How far is it to Charlevoix?

It is 15 minutes by boat and 5 minutes by car.

Do you have gluten free options on the menu?

Yes, we have several gluten free options, and many menu items can be modified to be gluten free.

Do you use peanut oil in your fryers?

No, we do not.

Can we place a takeout order?

Yes, you can, by visiting, calling our number 231-547-9036, or coming in to our to-go stand & placing an order in person.

Can we order our food to-go, and eat it over at the Sidebar?

Yes, you can.

What can I do if there is a long wait?

Feel free to order a drink & even an app at the bar to take to the waiting area.  We have a beautiful outdoor bar, The Sidebar, with drinks, small snacks, and yard games to help pass the time, or sit on the deck with some drinks and enjoy a view of lake!
